Most of CCleaner’s tools require some technical know-how to understand how to use them and avoid making mistakes.
The technically-inclined are perfectly happy to dive into the detail to learn the ropes of system cleaning, browser cleaning, managing start-up items, etc. But less literate PC users find the array of options daunting, overwhelming and are afraid of making mistakes that could break their PCs.
We believe tech non-experts would be happier and feel more feel more in control if they had the confidence to maintain their computers under their own steam, and if they could see that keeping their PC maintened eliminates their usual PC hassles.
Furthermore, we think PC experts would be a bit happier if it only took one phonecall to solve most of the PC problems encountered by their friends, family and colleagues.
Our first attempt at this was a simplified cleaning interface called Easy Clean. Since this, we have spent months developing an improved version of this, called Health Check.
When will we see it?
Health Check has already been rolled out to some users for several months, and we anticipate to share it with all of you in early 2020. We know there’s a lot we can do to improve it, so please share and vote for your favourite suggestions here on our Ideas Board!
